The importance of Remembrance is not always as clear to the younger generations, as it is for the past ones that came before them. There is a need to educate young people of the importance of honouring the great sacrifices of the men and woman, who had fought and served during times of conflict around the world.

Canadians across the nation come together on November 11. As Canadians we all have a shared history. Many had sacrificed their lives for our country. We all pause with profound respect and reflect on it.

This personal act of remembrance is an effort to bring meaning to that sacrifice. To honour them and their memory, that is something that can bring us all together. Not Just on November 11, but all the time.
